The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, one of the seven union territories of India, are a group of islands at the juncture of the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. Around 1200 kilometers far from mainland India, Andaman is a very popular destination for Tourists.

Outlandish Flora and Fauna, untouched beaches, popular for Adventurous Water Sports, Game Fishing, are some of the major reasons that Andaman Islands is now in the top visiting destinations of the tourists in India as well as in the world. As per a recent data by the Andaman Nicobar Administration, Island spotted around 04 lakh foot in of tourists last year and they have presumed that it is about to increase much more in the upcoming years.

The Island comprises of 572 Islands among which only 28 islands are home of human beings. The population of the Islands is hardly 06 lakhs as per the recent data and thus the islands has a pollution free environment. Being strategically important part of India, Andaman Islands is the only part of India with Tri-service theater command of the Indian Armed Forces and always treated with a special attention by the Government of India.

Fishing and Tourism is the only industry, in which the locals are highly depended, thus the growth in both the aforesaid industry is higher in comparison with the others yet forming industries. Andaman Islands which was under the control of the Britishers and Japanese still have their remaining’s and thus it’s a historic place too. Island is also termed as Mini India as people from all parts of India stay here.

Nonetheless, it has its own distinctiveness and that’s the reason it is gaining the attraction of tourists and visiting once in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands is becoming the dream of every individual in the planet.
